My desire to understand my own emotional undertakings has led me to study different forms of intimacy through figure painting and drawing. With each work, I am recreating scenes that depict the intimate moments I see and experience through a romanticized lens. I am influenced by the figurative cannons established in western art history and the art-making ideas and processes of contemporary painters. As an artist, my goal is to produce a unique viewing of portraiture that evokes an inward emotion and story to my audience.

Beyond my love for 2D art making I also enjoy creating videos about my art, life, and ideas which can be found on my YouTube channel @AbigailLynnArt. I am also the proud parent of two cats and probably too many plants. I graduated with my 2D Bachelors in Fine Arts in 2021 from Lander University and I am currently working on my studio practice and teaching part time.
